چکیده
Evaluation of rehabilitation is needed for planning a more sustainable program. This study aims to evaluate the implementation by formulating ecological parameters that affect coral reef and determine score weight success rate arrange strategi managing rehabilitation. In this research used descriptive method, with determination key evaluation scores, based on literature study. Determination using PCA analysis. Retrieval data done direct survey area Pramuka Island. The class clasified as “very successful”, “successful”, “unsuccessful” unsuccessful” classes. results showed there were 4 locations ecologically category unsuccessful 1 location very unsuccessful. recommended strategy emphasize government's commitment main force management improve quality increase fishery monitoring activities. It was also simultaneously maintaining rehabilitated reefs, minimally every 6 months.

Ecological Processes and Contemporary Coral Reef Management
Top-down controls of complex foodwebs maintain the balance among the critical groups of corals, algae, and herbivores, thus allowing the persistence of corals reefs as three-dimensional, biogenic structures with high biodiversity, heterogeneity, resistance, resilience and connectivity, and the delivery of essential goods and services to societies. On contemporary reefs world-wide, however, top-...
متن کاملIsland biogeography of Caribbean coral reef fish
Aim The goal of our study was to test fundamental predictions of biogeographical theories in tropical reef fish assemblages, in particular relationships between fish species richness and island area, isolation and oceanographic variables (temperature and productivity) in the insular Caribbean. These analyses complement an analogous and more voluminous body of work from the tropical Indo-Pacific...
متن کاملComanagement of coral reef social-ecological systems.
In an effort to deliver better outcomes for people and the ecosystems they depend on, many governments and civil society groups are engaging natural resource users in collaborative management arrangements (frequently called comanagement). However, there are few empirical studies demonstrating the social and institutional conditions conducive to successful comanagement outcomes, especially in sm...
متن کاملManagement Strategy Evaluation Applied to Coral Reef Ecosystems in Support of Ecosystem-Based Management
Ecosystem modelling is increasingly used to explore ecosystem-level effects of changing environmental conditions and management actions. For coral reefs there has been increasing interest in recent decades in the use of ecosystem models for evaluating the effects of fishing and the efficacy of marine protected areas. However, ecosystem models that integrate physical forcings, biogeochemical and...
متن کاملMigration in Coral Reef Fishes: Ecological Significance and Orientation Mechanisms
Coral reef fishes are in general rather sedentary and territoriality and home range behavior patterns are highly developed. However, many species migrate, often relatively long distances compared to body size and often with spectacular precision. Migrations in reef fishes may be associated with: 1) life history-movements of planktonic larval stages to reefs or movements of juveniles from nurser...
